Communicating data effectively is a critical skill for modern professionals. The easier it is for people to understand the results and implications of your work, the more likely they are to properly incorporate that data into their decision making. This talk provides participants with a more nuanced understanding of how our brains process visual information. Attendees can expect to leave this talk with concrete tips to help them create more effective data communications (specifically graphs) and a framework to present that data to others more effectively.
Miro Kazakoff is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He develops the school’s data communications curriculum.
